Course Objeetives
The objective of this course is to introduce the studente to the basic concepts of a microcomputer(pc) system. It provides a current and thorough introduction to computers by integrating usage of the world wide web
Course Description
+ covers basic through advanced computer concepts with an emphasis on both the personal computer and enterprise computing .
+Contains new Ethics and Issues boxes;weblinks;companies on the cutting edge;and Technology trailblazers in each ch apter .
+ Brings abstract concepts to students;practical +experience with Journaling: Ethics in Action exercises;and a new video component to accompany the learn How to exercises.

a)student conduct in class policy: any acts of classroom disruption that go beyond the noermal
rights of students to question and discuss with instructors the educational process relative to subject content will not TOLERATED.
b) Electronic Devices in class policy: cellular phones, pages, CD players , radios and similar devices are prohibited in the classroom and laboratory facilities. Electronic dictionary and computers are prohibited during examination and qu izzes, unless specified.
c) no make up tests for any reason.
d) Copying assignments is totally f ordden and will result to zero mark for all parties involved.
e)students are required to use floppy disks or flash drives to save thir lab works, assignment. Studentsshould alwys amaintain abackup copy of all work done through the semester incase they loose the disk or it gets corrubted.
